Hailing from Central London UK Landsraad are a Brutal four piece Metal Band with influences ranging from Machine Head, Early Metallica, Pantera, Slayer through to Lamb of God, Gojira, Chimaira and many more
Landraad feel they bring the elements of their influences infectious likeability bang up to date in a modern monstrous inescapable force.
All four members of Landsraad have had long experience in the UK live music scene and are no strangers to the stage.
Both guitarists had been in a well known metal band together and upon its demise still believed they had unfinished business on the Metal scene.
After several beer-driven discussions with a long-time friend and fellow stage veteran they had found their bass player, and began rehearsing the music they had been wanting to hear since their favourite bands had drifted into the pages of history at the beginning of the new millennium.
Many of these bands were consigned to their fate by the increasingly corporate direction of a genre that used to pride itself on fierce independence, a stance that has become shaky in the last few years of rampant commercialization..
The near-complete band embarked on a long and turbulent search for a drummer and, several candidates later, were lucky enough to enlist the talents of another experienced musician to complete the line-up at the beginning of 2010.
Landsraad are now unleashed, ready to help lead Metal back to where it should be, fighting the tide of mediocrity and screaming in the face of the establishment.
