Biography
Mikey Kelly and Matt Hames reign from Omaha, Nebraska. The group was formed in 2007 as a response to an encounter with an alien from an orbiting planet of alpha centauri, a star four light years away. The alien offered his input for a new album, and in return, the two made him pancakes. Labwork's blips and noises are often confused as 'Synthetic Gibberish,' when, in fact, these noises are something much greater. Their music is what you might hear in a probing room of an advanced alien civilization. The demand for Labwork's music in other galaxies is very high, but due to technology issues, these aliens are unable to attain Labwork's great songs as instantaneously as earthlings can. They receive about a song a decade and needless to say, the day that the aliens receive that song is celebrated with great zeal through the use of intergalactic drug use. Earthlings, cherish your easy access to Labwork's grandeur and lose yourself in their ethereal orgasmacy.
