La Bande à Basile, started in the late 70s as a group of friends singing and dancing, dressed "à la façon Comedia del arte".Their first hit was "Les Chansons françaises" a disco-medley of the most popular french children songs.
They recorded several LPs in France. Their biggest hit was "La Chenille".
The original group as seen on the pictures, doesn't exist anymore, but the group is still active with other artists.
