I listened to this song during the comedown of my trip and it was one of the most painful experiences Ive ever felt. Listening to it while staring at the lyrics on spotify, barely being able to read because of all the visuals, the squiggly letters, lights flickering, rainbows coming from the white on black text. I saw myself in the song and it hurt like nothing else ever did. I could see the two voices talking to each other so clearly and I felt everything so deeply. During those moments I thought Id never want to trip again because it felt like someone was prying my back open and ripping my organs one by one, but its been two day and I already miss how good it was and how bad it ended. It feels like living an entire separate life, knowing its going to end, knowing its going to be so bad and that its not going to be easy and that its gonna change you. At the end of the trip I looked at myself in the mirror and all I wanted to do was to start it over

The omly shoegaze i like is MBV loveless and this bands self-titled, can anyone recommend me something similair? I've tried the big shoegaze names but theyre all a little too "poppy". I really like the psychedelic wall of sound these bands have.

There's just something about some of the chord progressions and singing on the self-titled that sound oddly like contemporary evangelical worship music from the late-90s and early 00's. Pretty fitting honestly!
