Biography
Led is a shoegaze band from Easton, Pennsylvania. Led’s core members are Luid Astute and Izzy Izix, with a rotating lineup of touring musicians joining for live shows.
Luid Astute handles the vocals, lyrics, and creative direction, while Izzy Izix does the compositions, production, and instrumentation.
They first gained traction through a series of shoegaze and nugaze tracks, some originally created by the artist flyingfish. His most popular track, "myocarditis", uses the instrumental from flyingfish’s "wonder if you care", with both songs dropping the same week.
Led often drops songs as connected storylines that unfold across multiple singles, with the lore tucked into his SoundCloud descriptions.
Alongside their singles, they’ve released two EPs. "Lilac", which is the first project featuring Izzy Izix as a collaborator and producer, and "If, before you leave?" a full dual release between Led and Izzy Izix.
Their only full-length album, shitpost, is a fully acoustic album, which is a detour from from their usually distortion-heavy sound.
