it’s not just their best batch of songs (duh), it’s also so cohesive and brimming with personality and charm. i really don’t get why this album wasn’t the template for them moving forward, they’ve changed vibes and image so many times since then but this is who they were meant to be…i actually really like the hot EP, it’s now a firm second for me, but fearless was a vision for what 2020s k-pop could be. i am dying to know who in hybe wanted to switch it up, and for what reason…

looking back it's pretty wild they came out of the gate with such a solid ep. it did such a good job at setting up their sound, their concept + their overall image. sadly i feel like their subsequent releases have been getting worse with time :/// (i've still enjoyed most of them, Easy was probably their first miss for me). hope they kick it up a notch with their next comeback. the potential is still there!!!!!!

Why are there aoty shouts on nearly every random decent to good kpop EP? Is this one of the unanimously accepted ways for kpop stans to praise an album?
