Her work focuses on the spirit: the conduit space between physical temporal consciousness and the ambiguities and complexities of the soul. She pulls from a wide variety of sources, including natural history, ancient art and literature, 19th century women’s writing, mystic teachings, and contemporary popular culture. At heart she is a storyteller. She works in a wide range of mediums such as painting, ink, printmaking, photography, film/video, and music.
