Ugh for the last time, plebes -- INTERPOL DIDN'T RIP ANYONE ELSE OFF, they were just one of many bands from NYC at that time trying to recreate that post-punk sound

Saw them live at reading after dark club in the late 80s. Totally brilliant and under appreciated. Big influence to bands of early 90s.

Massively underappreciated band and fantastic live sound. Why they werent more popular i have no idea, unless it was the gay thing, but that didnt seem to harm the Smiths popularity much, did it?
