Little Rock Christian Artist, Pastor Kevin Riley, is blazing a new path in praise and worship. This Wilmar, Arkansas native released his first CD project in January 2013 which gained him notoriety in the Independent Artist community. This 9 track album entitled "Just Me and You" showcased Riley's unique sound as he branded himself as a true worshiper. In May 2014, this Pastor & Psalmist released a new single, “In Awe of You.” Accompanied vocally by his sister, Tina Riley Johnson, this is a song that resonates in the hearts of those whose affections are truly set toward God. With a vocal technique that is pure and simple, the power and passion of Riley’s voice is undeniable as his heart is on display on every tune.
Anointed to lead people into the presence of God, the Kevin Riley music experience can be summed up in two words – Atmosphere Changer! The prophetic flow of Riley’s music is as visible as it is powerful, creating an unforgettable worship experience. Kevin Riley not only shares his gift musically, but also through teaching and preaching. Riley has helped others to gain insight and revelation by sharing in various seminars and conferences across the U.S. and has plans to take his ministry world wide.
Since the release of “In Awe of You,” the song has been nominated for the 2015 Music Love Awards Contemporary Song of the Year and the 2015 Rhythm of Gospel Awards CCM Song of the Year. Riley has also been nominated for Psalmist of the Year and Praise & Worship Artist of the Year for the 2015 Music Love Awards in addition to being nominated CCM Artist of the Year and Best Performance by CCM Artist for the 2015 Rhythm of Gospel Awards. At the Music Love Award event which was held in Charlotte, NC in late March, Riley was announced as winner in all three categories for which he was nominated. Riley will be attending the Rhythm of Gospel Awards event in late July 2015 where the winners will be announced in the categories for which they are nominated.
Riley has also been nominated Male Artist of the Year for the 5th annual Gospel Blue M.I.C. Awards celebrating the achievements of independent artists which will be held July 10, 2015 in Chesapeake, VA. On Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Dallas, Texas, Riley will be presented an award in recognition of Outstanding Music Ministry of the Year as Heal The World Mission and laExpose’ presents Extraordinary People Awards.
Riley’s newest project entitled “Restored for Worship” is a musical journey of both personal and universal restoration! From our creative purpose of worship, to brokenness, to the redeeming power of the blood of Jesus, this cinematic sound of worship will lead you into the very presence of God. This album is filled with profound biblical narrations and songs that will compel the true worshiper to worship the Lord. With original songs such as "Created for Worship," "In Awe of You" and "So Amazing," a contemporary arrangement of the hymn "Love Lifted Me," all the way to popular songs such as Mighty to Save and the dramatic Via Dolorosa, this collection of music is a MUST HAVE for your musical library.
In addition to the release of his new album, Riley will also be making his debut as an Author with his new book also entitled Restored for Worship which will be released in the Fall of 2015. The book ministers about our creative purpose, the brokenness we experience in life and the restoration process and total healing that can only be achieved through forgiveness of self, others and by the power of God through Jesus Christ.
