Biography
Ambient folk pop artist Keeni (keen eye) is an adventurous dreamer. A child of many heritages, raised in both the U.S. and the Philippines, and proud descendent of the Pomo Indians, this New York-based artist explores her perspective of the world one song at a time.
Inspired by the intimate alt-rock style of Tori Amos and the experimental electropop of Imogen Heap, Keeni’s strengths as a vocalist and audio engineer unite to create a captivating, sincere style of her own.
A wide-eyed explorer, honest to a fault, Keeni recounts her growing pains as confessions in her music. Clumsy but full of spirit, each fall is an opportunity to help someone else feel less alone. Her ambient dream-like style invites you into her overactive imagination, taking the listener into her safe space where her music lives.
