Karthik and Sumangali as a pair are best known for singing the hit song Niluvadhamu Ninu Epudaina from the 2004 Tollywood (Telugu) film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (నువ్వొస్తానంటే నేవొద్దంటానా). The film was later remade into Tamil with the title, Something Something … Unnakum Ennakum (சம்திங்சம்திங் உனக்கும் எனக்கும).
Karthik is a versatile film music singer who has has risen to fame recently. He was born on November 7, 1980, in Tamil Nadu. He has sung a number of songs for many popular music directors, including A. R. Rahman and Ilayaraaja. Karthik has sung songs in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
