“PREACHER MAN” was first played during Ye’s second VULTURES 2 listening party in Haikou, China on September 28, 2024. With the reveal of the track, he also announced its placement on his eleventh studio album, BULLY. also, During the DJ section of the afterparty the song was played three times. On February 21, 2025, a version of the song was leaked on Instagram by @yeezyxgap, which featured Young Moose reference vocals and better mixing. They also revealed that that version of the song was created in January 2025.
The song was officially released alongside “DAMN” and “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST” on DSPs on June 20, 2025.
