Red Moon in Venus is the third studio album by Kali Uchis, released on March 3, 2023, through Geffen Records. Described as a project deeply influenced by astrology, particularly the symbolism of the blood moon, the album explores themes of desire, heartbreak, faith and honesty, embodying the divine femininity associated with the moon and Venus.

Primarily an R&B record, it features guest appearances by Omar Apollo, Don Toliver and Summer Walker. The album made a significant impact, debuting at number four on the Billboard 200 and reaching number two on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. This marked Uchis' first top-10 entry on these charts, with over 55,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week.

The creation of Red Moon in Venus began with Uchis announcing in early 2022 that she was finishing up her third album. By mid-2022, she revealed that she had two albums ready, one in English and one in Spanish, and later that year, she dropped the single "NO HAY LEY", her first solo release in nearly two years. In January 2023, she released "I Wish You Roses", a song about releasing people with love, followed by the single "Moonlight" in February.

Critically, Red Moon in Venus was met with widespread acclaim. It received an 84 out of 100 on Metacritic, indicating universal praise, and was rated 8.2 out of 10 by Pitchfork, which also named it "best new music" the week of its release. The album's success was further cemented by its inclusion in numerous year-end lists for 2023, reflecting its impact and resonance in the music industry.
