The long-awaited debut single of EXO member KAI came alive in the form of “음 (Mmmh),” a dynamic R&B pop song that highlights the artist’s smooth honey-like voice.
The song’s lyrics are straight-forward and intend to provide a sensual atmosphere. In his debut album’s online press conference, KAI described “음 (Mmmh)” to be a song that expresses a feeling of attraction to one’s first encounter.
KAI was actively involved in the crafting process of his debut song; he selected the track, picked the dancers, took part in the making of the choreography, and worked on the song’s visual aspects.
