King Howl play HEAVY BLUES: sounds coming from the first part of XX century, like those from people like Son House, Muddy Water, Howling Wolf, Robert Johnson, are filtered out and take new shape, combining stoner rock, funk, punk and jazz style in a new crossover labored with spontaneity and naturalness, in a direct way. Their set is is a flow of sounds that never stops, which changes at each song, speaking the blues language, with a different accent every time.

The band released a three tracks Ep in 2010 and the full-lenght “King Howl Quartet” in 2012, produced by Talk About Records and distributed in all Europe by Go Down Records. Since the beginning King Howl have a large live activity, which brought them around Italy and Europe (Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Switzerland); the band also played at international festivals such as Time in Jazz, Maximum Festival, Freiburg Fuzz Fest, opening Fatso Jetson, Yawning Man, Bob Margolin, Tre allegri Ragazzi morti, Il Teatro degli Orrori, Salmo.

In Italy, magazines as La Repubblica XL, Il Manifesto, La Repubblica, Rock Hard, Buscadero, Rockit, Moby Dick Radio 2 talked about King Howl, and worldwide Soda Shop (USA), Cosmic Lava (GER), Rock Times (GER), Stoner Rock GR (GRE), Musiczine (FR) and many others.

Now it’s time for the third discographic chapter: Truckstop E.P, made by four tracks recorded and mixed by Gabriele Boi (The Rippers, Mojomatics) is going to be published on May 28th 2014 in digital edition, and physical edition on July 24th 2014. The work fully reflects the sound built by the band through the years, and the new tracks will enrich the explosive live-set which King Howl show to their audience.
