KÜENRING formed in December 2010 by the remaining members of forerunner band MADHOUSE (Stefan & Florian Gutenthaler, Michael Sulzbachner) plus new drummer Georg Markhart. On November 18, 2011, KÜENRING released their first demo album called "Death Awaits", followed by several gigs in 2011/12. In September 2012 the band parted ways with their drummer, but already started working on their next demo ep the following winter while searching for a new man for the drum kit.
