Biography
John Torkington is from Mesa, Arizona, a place that while may not have the most exciting festivities, makes up this with having ample time to learn to write music. This hobby of his was brought on by his father's love for saxophone and his mother's passion for music. Stemming from multiple musical influences from high school band to video games, from Infected Mushroom to Above and Beyond. He currently resides in Orange, California attending Chapman University, a freshman majoring in film production.
John Torkington doesn't follow any rules when it comes to music production. Downtempo with distorted guitars? Check. Acid synths with breakbeats? Check. Trance with hip-hop beats? Yep, one big check there. Instead of binding himself to any particular genre, John writes what he likes, and hopefully what you like.
