Biography

Jesse Goplen is a young, budding, broadside balladeer. His songs reveal a genuine social conscience and moral revulsion to the lies of mass deception that he suspects are the cover-up of false flag terror and war for Empire. His 9/11 Truth songs, Controlled Demolition and September Eleven Blues, are delivered with a talent and conviction that is reminiscent of the early Greenwich Village folk revival scene that brought forth the likes of Phil Ochs, Tom Paxton, Bob Dylan, Janis Ian, Len Chandler, Joan Baez, Gil Turner, Peter LaFarge, and so many others. They inspired the nation to stand up against the Vietnam War and to struggle for what is right and just in an advanced civil society based on a participatory democracy. Jesse Goplen is picking up the torch of that topical folk music tradition and carrying it on with the dignity and courage that it inspires.
