Rapper / producer Jaesin “Az Smooth” Stone was born in Tacoma Park MD right outside if Washington D.C. Raised in New Carlton M.D, P.G County the suburbs D.C. before moving to Silver Spring MD. As a teen he was sent to Phoenix Arizona to attended school in hopes to get him aways from negative influences. Spending the summer back in D.C he pick up the name Az Smooth. He got his start in the group “Evil Blend” with members Dirty D and Young Real. Dropping the first mixtape “Evil Blend”. Stone and Young Real hooked up to release “Emotionally Scarred” talking about life in their environment. This EP was the catalysts for Stone and Young Real buzz building. They then connected with Reggae/Dance Hall artist K-9 and producer Skep to release a Rap/Reggae infused mixtape “Hart Beat” that had the city talking. 2007 Stone relocated back to A.Z were he got working on his first solo mixtape “Stone602” receiving 25,000+ downloads. In 2011 Stone released his first digital EP “The Evils” followed by “Chapter 33“. He Co-founded recording label Unique Rhythms in 2013. He dropped ”Independent Hustle“ in 2014. Being called one of hip hop best kept secrets by Urban Release Magazine this EP hits you with jazzy instrumentals. 2016 Stone released his debut album “STREET FAME”.
