Biography
JMII is a producer and DJ from Barcelona involved in several projects. As a member of the now defunct project Aster, he debuted on Jamal Moss' Mathematics Recordings and released two EPs with Barcelona's wealthiest label Hivern Discs.
His solo debut EP on 100% Silk featured some of his early interests: quirky bleeps, classic beats, distorted vocals and a whole world of colorful synth lines. A more powerfull and dancefloor-oriented evolution of this sound featured recently on remixes for Studio 3 (a Techno-focused Aster spin-off on Modern Obscure Music) and Olde Gods (a new collaborative project between JMII and multi-talented crooner Guillamino).
A forthcoming solo four-track EP on Hivern Discs and a couple of bombastic neo-Valencia edits will confirm JMII's growing interest on the most physical side of dance music during 2015.
