4) Born Jaimie Lee Hoffmann, this San Diego-native has been singing since the age of three and performing since she was eight years old. Not many avenues for such a talented young singer were available, so her family took her to karaoke places so she could perform in public. And perform she did, receiving many standing ovations and winning countless local karaoke competitions along the way.

One day, as she was singing the national anthem at a San Diego Padres game, her life changed without her even knowing it at the time. Watching the game was a friend of record label owner/producer Michael Alvarez, who immediately called him about this talented young lady. Michael had no way of contacting her until by chance he heard J-Me was to perform at a karaoke competition in her hometown. While attending that competition, Michael saw and heard for himself, an incredibly strong, beautiful voice singing "I Turn to You" by Christina Aguilera and was floored. He immediately introduced himself to J-Me and her family. They decided to have their families get together for a barbecue. At this barbecue, Michael had J-Me record some vocals and was blown away by her talent. The families "clicked" and Michael has been working with J-Me ever since. The product of their collaboration - a Billboard R&B hit single entitled "Dance With Me," which topped the charts at #3. "Dance With Me" played on every R&B radio station and in hundreds of clubs across the country.

"The two things that make me happy are singing and performing in front of crowds," says J-Me. True to her word, she has been taking her show on the road, performing with such stars as LL Cool J, Nivea, Stevie Brock and Aaron Carter. J-Me recently wrapped up a U.S. tour with Aaron Carter. She impressed the Carter family so much that Aaron invited J-Me to join him on his tour of Japan. J-Me captured thousands of fans along the way and now has an international following. Media is even taking notice. J-Me is now appearing in teen magazines and major newspapers, collecting more and more fans on a national level.

J-Me cites Christina Aguilera, Jewel, and Madonna as some of her biggest musical influences. When you spend time with her, you have no doubt that a day will come, very soon, when you’ll see J-Me alongside these talented and very successful artists. Either way, J-Me is determined and ready to make her own, special mark on the world.
