Biography
Canton, Ohio Hardcore Metal band, Ismene began in the Spring of 2009. They started played their first show on September 11th, 2009, playing third out of six bands and opening for I Declare War, The World We Knew, and Cholera. Since then, they have played with bands such as Demolisher, The Crimson Armada, Inhale Exhale, Bought In Blood, and The Gun Show. They recorded the single, 'Tear You Down' with Forefront Studio in the Fall of 2009 and a new song in December which will be up on their myspace in early 2010. They play positive music and often times performing at churches. They quickly gained the support of many fans, opening for shows in September '09 and already to headline a Canton show in March of 2010.

Forming at only the beginning of 2009, this fresh new band made a name for themselves in just months, in which some bands never do in years of effort. From recording an EP with Forefront Studios, preforming almost every week for months, to gaining a solid and respected following throughout northeast Ohio. These guys are here to set things straight between hardcore and deathmetal in the northern Ohio metal scene. Bringing you clean and positive lyrics about frustration, hardship, and life experiences. They may still be in high school, but this is something that will never be taken as a joke. If your one for mind blowing strength of vocal chords, along with thick, sludgey, and brutal breakdowns, this is one band you wont ever want to miss. This is hardcore beatdown at its finest.
