Biography
Inversion Effect is a collaboration of Artificial Music Machine musicians to create improvisational ambient and experimental music. Using both traditional and non-traditional instrumentation, they compose dark soundscapes; soundtracks for films that don't yet exist.
Inversion Effect features the talents of Martin McCreadie (Limiter) on guitar, Thomas Fang (Static Storm System) contributing noise, effects, and intercepted transmissions, and loops, keyboards, and bass by Dan Burton (Afreet), as well as the collaborative efforts of other musicians. Previous performances have also included keyboards and theremin by Joel Willard (IRDBISA). Inversion Effect live performances feature original video arrangements designed to complement the immersive sound.
For Haloween 2005, Inversion Effect performed an original live score to a showing of the silent classic, Nosferatu at the Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek.
