In a Nutshell plays a melodious post-punk turning to eccentric grunge or unobtrusive ambient. All the members of the band are from Russia. The music of In a Nutshell is full of reflection, slump and November rain. In spite of the sensibility and the co-ordination of the musical stuff they're always looking for new sound and technics. The music has become more rhythmic, but it's still romantic and delicate all the same. Probably in their work musicians affirm the famous Hamlets phrase "O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell, and count myself a king of infinite space".
