Biography
Edgar Alemán (born in July 11th, 1994), under the name of Icekler, is a mexican artist, musician, composer and writer born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. From the beginning he directed his attention towards different areas of arts and science simultaneously and worked over them at a similar pace. During the period of study in the International Baccalaureate Organization, choosing the Visual Arts subject, produced a collection of 11 paintings, which later were presented on an exposition. Musical education was all auto-didactic and the exploration varied from folkloric instruments like the ocarina, quena, and panflute to electrical instruments like the guitar and bass.
There have been attempts to start a band, but as it was formed, the different goals and artistic views were too many and decided to take part himself in all steps of the creation of his compositions, while the band remained united to their own goals.
Currently his works in progress include two novels, and the composition and production of the to be debut album Metaoptic.
