Dona de Mim is the debut studio album by Brazilian singer IZA, released on April 27, 2018 through Warner Music Brazil. The singer worked on the album for an amount of two years, releasing several singles between 2016 and 2017. Initially, the album was scheduled to debut in December 2017, however a duet had not been finalized, and the singer chose to postpone the album until the song is ready. The album features main production by Pablo Bispo, Ruxell and Sérgio Santos - who also serves as executive producer of the album - as well as collaborations with several producers such as Alex Favilla, Bernardo leGrand, Brabo, HeadMedia, HitMaker and Jhama.
Dona de Mim is predominantly composed of songs from the pop and R&B genre, but has a mix of styles such as reggae fusion, acid jazz and afrobeat. The album features several collaborations such as Carlinhos Brown, Gloria Groove, Ivete Sangalo, Marcelo Falcão, Rincon Sapiência, Ruxell and Thiaguinho. Dona de Mim was critically acclaimed, receiving praise for her cohesion and coherence, in addition to Iza receiving several praise for her vocal performance. The album was preceded by two singles: "Pesadão", duet with Falcão, released on October 5, 2017, and "Ginga", featuring Rincon Sapiência, released on March 23, 2018. Dona de Mim was nominated for a Latin Grammy 2018 in the category Best Contemporary Pop Album of Portuguese Language.
