Horizon Key é Simotty (vocal), Dani Costa (guitarra), Robson Gitcoff (guitarra), Rafles Gonçalves (baixo) e Lucas França (bateria), músicos que trabalham há anos no heavy metal paulista, com passagens por bandas como Hollow Head, Pariethal, Kreave, Dooelo e no álbum solo do vocalista Bruno Sutter.
A banda surge com uma nova concepção de metal moderno, uma introspecção com agressividade e melodias que crescem e desaceleram como sentimentos inseparáveis. A sonoridade da banda também incorpora elementos de metal alternativo e metalcore.

According to the press release, “By My Side” is about an individual who wants to free himself from routine and monotony and start over from scratch, but feels insecure about leaving his comfort zone.
“In other words, wanting to free yourself but also wanting to always be safe. It is an idea of insecurity between wanting to be protected by what is certain and going in search of what is doubtful”, said the group.
