Biography
Herb's Excellent Adventure is a four piece band from Purmerend, The Netherlands, cleverly combining heavy American rock and melodic Anglo-European indie pop. The band was formed in 1994 by Patrick Oxsener, Danny Rosendahl, Marco Strikkers and Anton Leijdekker and the line-up hasn't changed since. Herb's Excellent Adventure started of as a typical jam band, influenced by groups like Tool, Primus, Soundgarden and U2. Witnesses of that early style are cd's Herb's Excellent Adventure (Repaci) ('97) and Under Your Wings ('01). Acoustic ep Clean ('03) introduces a new melodic side, that is further integrated on The Demual - EP ('06). New album Blind Spot was released in september 2009 and is now available on LastFM.
