Biography
Australian born to Spanish heritage, Helen Rivero has built a musical career as a dramatic and adventurous singer of music largely drawn from traditional repertoire.
Her first album, Rivero, focussed mostly on Spanish and Sephardic songs.
Her second album, Luminous, a collaboration with Canberra producer and multi-instrumentalist Ian Blake, was an inventive re-setting of children's lullabies from around the world.
Her third album, Yes, Capitan, was comprised almost entirely of self-penned songs.
