Biography
Beyond the artist's renown, career, chart success or number of albums sold, talking to artists like Eduardo Amezcua and his sister Amor (who is the drummer of the band Mint Field and also has a solo project called Myuné) is one of those experiences that takes time to fade from your skin and softens your heart.
Those who have heard Grenda's project can agree that it is one of those rare gems in electronic music. It sounds like something familiar, something we know we have heard at some point in our lives, but whose memory comes not from any record but from within ourselves, it is like the score of our memories.
At only 19 years old, Grenda has managed to position herself in an industry that is more than difficult, it seems inhospitable: electronic music in Mexico. Contrary to logic, Grenda doesn't follow guidelines, he doesn't go according to the opinion or preferences of the guild, he makes music for the people, yes, but only music that resonates with his inner self and that makes him express himself freely, that's why he always writes in English. "The truth is that I have always felt more comfortable writing in English, perhaps because most of the music I listened to was in this language, but it is not a question of preference, it is just born that way".
