Biography
It was the summer of 1999. Nixon was still in the White House, children and adults alike were fascinated with a new invention called the hula-hoop, and Husker Du's "Land Speed Record" was blaring out of every teen's hi-fi.
But in St. Paul, MN strange, cosmic forces were at work developing a new experience called Gone Out Gone. Esteemed British rock 'n roll critic Holt Westen called their music "like a pastel knit of glimmering stars and muscle cars with which to curl up or rock out". My mother says "I hope you wear earplugs".
If you are lucky enough to live near the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul you probably heard the buzz rising over the snow. It started in low. Then it started to grow. Gone Out Gone delivered the top quality rock performances that soothed the aching id of the concert goer.
