Originally released in 2000. Acclaimed for it's genuine and original island ska, rocksteady, and reggae sound, "Slow Time" opened the ears and minds of people around the world for the first time to Hawai'i's homegrown secret, Go Jimmy go. With this re-release Moon Room Records is adding two previously unreleased gems ("Plantation" and "Guenon"). The albums comes re-mastered and ready to shine anew with revamped artwork and digipack sleeve. Go Jimmy Go will be out on the road throughout '04 in support of the re-release of "Slow Time," "Soul Arrival" and the upcoming "The Girl With The…Fishbowl Eyes." Go Jimmy Go use ska, rocksteady, reggae and classic soul as the foundation for their well-crafted and instantly memorable sound. Their songs represent a fresh approach to blue beat fusion. The band is driven by the charismatic and charmingly possessed front man, Jason "Bison" Friedmann. With an "Island Sound Known the World Around!," "Slow Time" is the essential roots music of Go Jimmy Go!
