Glasshead formed in Kitimat BC in 1997.Fronted by Jason Parkes on guitar and vocals, Petri Niemenen on guitar, John Heinonkari on bass, and Andrew Murphy on drums. John left the band early in 1998, and the bass position was filled by Ian Chisholm. They released three albums. The 1998 album Thirteen 2001's self titled Glasshead, and the 2006 release Daydreams on Jupiter. They disbanded late in 2005 shortly before the release of their last album.
