1. Gingerbread were an English pop group of the early 1970s from the town of Grantham, United Kingdom, and managed by Major Brian Hart. After one single for the B&C label Gingerbread were signed to the Pye Records label. Their Pye début single, 'Pollution', was released in 1971. They split up at the end of the same year.
2. (information in German) Gingerbread ist eine Hard-Rockband Gegründet in der Kleinstadt Pulsnitz im Jahre 2002 ließ der Erfolg noch auf sich warten. 2006 versuchte man deswegen erst einmal getrennte Wege zu gehen. Erst im März 2009 fanden sich Simon am Schlagzeug, Stefan am Bass und Frank an der Gitarre und hinter dem Mikrofon wieder in einem Proberaum von Dresden. Nach einem ersten Wiederverinigungsauftritt im Dresdner Industrieglände, erkannte man, dass die Chancen, Gehör zu finden, in der Großstadt erheblich größer sind, als in einem verschlafenem Kaff. Momentan steht ein neues Demo-Tape an, dass voraussichtlich Ende Juni 2009 veröffentlicht wird.
