Ghosts Of Modern Man is an indie rock band from Regina, Saskatchewan Canada. Everyone Is As Terrified As You Are was recorded in January and February of 2001 at Touchwood Studios in Regina, Saskatchewan Canada - under the band name of Pillar. The record was engineered by John Gasparic and mixed by Grant Hall and Ghosts Of Modern Man.

Due to legal issues (and the fact that an American rock band had the same name) the band was forced to change their name. They became Ghosts Of Modern Man. Some line-up changes also came in time, with Stacey Hahn (formerly of the lauded Smallman Records band Layaway Plan) added on guitars and backing vocals, along with drummer Tristan Helgason (formerly of Filmmaker and 400 Strong).

Their first album under the new moniker was City Of No Light, recorded in the fall of 2004 at MCC Studios in Calgary, Alberta. The band produced it, along with Rob Gwilliam, who also engineered the sessions. Dave Gardner mastered the album at Magneto Mastering in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The album was released on Winnipeg, Manitoba-based Smallman Records, the label of Hahn's former band. The record charted for several weeks on chartattack.com's weekly polling of campus and community radio stations.

The band consists of Jonah Krieser on guitars and vocals, Jamie Deal on bass, Stacey Hahn on backing vocals and guitars, and Tristan Helgason on drums.
