Biography
Gather the Grieving originally began as the culmination of a long awaited musical endeavor that was set into motion by the members of two recently deceased bands (Derek Stewart, Timothy Lint, Rob Gentry & Michael Grimes).
They set out to create a sound that combined a diverse interest in musical styles with intelligent lyrics that reflected honest beliefs and they have done just that. In late August of 2006, they made the first step to completing their line-up with the addition of lead vocalist, Ryan Legg.
In January 2007, Tim made the difficult decision to leave the band to pursue what God had for him. As a result, the band pulled together and with a little help from new guitarist, Jef Riley and decided to continue on this path to fulfilling their dreams.
Motivated by honesty, love and the simple idea that music is an intense avenue for change, they have remained constant in their efforts.
Recently, the band has embarked upon recording their first Ep. This release will include 6 songs and will be released sometime before the end of 2007.
