Biography
German Pascual (Ex-Narnia/Ex-Mind's Eye) is a man with a very special and powerful voice. Born in Uruguay, raised in Brazil, he has lived in Stockholm Sweden since his early teens and has achieved much success and notoriety in Sweden and around the world in the last few years. His name has been lauded and likened in reviews from metal media to some of the greatest melodic metal voices of our day - singers like Ronnie James Dio and Jorn Lande.
In 2008, when Narnia needed a singer, German made contact with Narnia guitarist C.J Grimmark. The rest is history. 'Course of a Generation' by Narnia was released in late 2009 and widely hailed in the metal press as their finest disc to that date. Feeling blessed to have found this great situation in Narnia, German was shocked when the band decided to end all activity.
In the years that followed the breakup of Narnia, he has pursued a solo career. And the culmination of that labor is here! Recorded in German's own 'Camel Wash Studios' his new solo disc 'A New Beginning' is a tour-de-force of heavy metal music drawing from a very broad range of musical influences. The disc has received rave reviews from the metal underground and is poised to break out worldwide.
