Galaxie 500… not an imitation, but a genuine piece of rock machinery from Québec, Canada. Formed in 2002 by Olivier Langevin (guitar/vocals), Pierre Girard (guitar), Vince Peak (bass), Fred Fortin (drums/bass) and François Lafontaine (keyboards/fx), G500's music is a scorching rock'n'roll sung in French. This powerhouse combination of locally acclaimed musicians brings a loud, raw but sophisticated sound, combining elements of garage rock, postmodern blues, with a unique Québécois roots style.
