Robert "Fuzz" Townshend was born on 31 July 1964. Fuzz was the drummer of Pop Will Eat Itself from 1991 onwards. He's been a drummer since the age of ten, has worked as a bus mechanic, truck driver, college lecturer, landcape gardener and used to own a bar in Digbeth, Birmingham called The Rainbow until 2005. He lives in and works from Bishop's Castle, Shropshire.
