I LOVE FLA I like Skinny Puppy too but as much as I wanted to like them as much as FLA I guess FLA is way more straightforward and digestible in their music... which is good, I think... when I'm in the mood for more experimental chaotic, atmospheric dark industrial beats, I go for SP, but when I want to dance feeling like a hacker from the future, it's FLA FLA FLA FLA. Still haven't listened to their discography but they were one of the artists who were a breath of fresh air for me after many many years listening to mostly metal. I mean, this whole "industrial" thing too. Teenage me would have never expected i'd eventually grow fond of this type of music. FLA, Skinny Puppy, Noise Unity, Ministry, Nitzer Ebb, Lead Into Gold, Revolting Cocks, Front 242, Nine Inch Nails, Godflesh, etc.

What is so awesome about FLA, or more correctly - about Bill Leeb and Co? They are open-minded and they can very well imitate every electronic style they met on their way. They are not limited into Electro-industrial and EBM. Delve deep into their discography and you'll see.

One of my favourite bands ever. The best era goes from 1986 to 1994, for me. State of mind is probably in my top 3 albums ever.

FLA is probably one of my favorite bands for long time now, as i am growing older i must say that i am enjoying more their oldschool work like album Gashed Senses & Crossfire even enjoy early demo tape Nerve War which reminds me on Skinny Puppy Bites era. From newer releases i would say that Wake up the Coma is very good album, Echogenetic and Improved Electronic Device are aslo great albums, only i find latest album Mechanical Soul to be somehow weaker work but still is listenable. Also middle 90s era is amazing, probably the strongest one albums like Tactical Neutral Implant, Millenium, Caustic Grip and Hard Wired. Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber are so productive and imaginative, probably this duo is one of my favorite musicians ever, i am also thinking on their other work as Cyberaktif, Delerium, Conjure One, Rhys Fulber, Synaesthesia...

Echogenetic has aged so well I can't believe it's almost 10 years old and is still my favorite FLA album.

Any good starting points with this band, maybe some older and newer stuff for career span/evolution? For reference I'm very into Skinny Puppy (new and old). More synths/electro - less metal is preferable.

that build up and drop on Resist around the 3 minute mark gets me so goddamn hyped it makes me want to jump like crazy while kicking shit. that snare hits SO HARD. it must work very well live, banging those snares like Nitzer Ebb. it's a shame it's not between the most listened tracks. people don't like Caustic Grip?

Disappointing new album. Feels rushed. Even demo like. I enjoyed the tracks Purge, Unknown and Alone and Last.fm doesn't scrobble Unknown.

Mechanical Soul is a great record to start the year, I like that this band continues to make quality music in the elektro genre, also their material of the 80s of Delerium is what I have heard most about these great boys

Сколько лет знаю FLA -- всегда были охуенны, слушабельны и разноплановы. Видно было, что после недолгого присутствия в составе щенков, ему было что сказать в куче других проектов, и повлиять на ебием-сцену.

Считаю, что с начала нулевых выбрали правильный вектор развития. "Epitaph" и последующие работы приобрели современный окрас.

наряду с nitzer ebb и click click уважаю их более всех остальных из ebm-тусовки, совершенно точно знаю, что могу включить любой альбом, ипиху или сингл и мне сразу станет пиздато и заебись.
