tbh i didn’t know he sold his catalogue. funny he did considering his prior comments and for cheap too. i liked him more when he was an edgelord just like everyone else and we fucked toronto sloots and called people faggots. now the world’s just not the same

If you can see him on this tour do it. No idea how many shows I have seen over the last 35+ years, but after a few days to sit back I think it was my number 1. Never before had I seen a Toronto crowd so embrace an artist and inturn an artist embrace a crowd like this. His positivity, energy and phenomenal music made every person in this arena bounce like we were breathing in a gaseous version of MDMA. It was pure bliss.

but because it's so consistent and it reflects the actual fred, that's why it works

pretty great producer with an interesting use of looping but his melodies are overly-pop at times. he would benefit from getting a little closer to the roots of the bass genres hes pulling from and get moodier. great stuff all around tho.

Well, I really enjoy pop and many of its subgenres, so it could be a matter of taste haha But still, I've watched his DJ sets and for sure he knows what he's doing. Just by watching his Boiler Room, you can notice how well he is able to connect with his audience by mixing different styles and managing the flow of the entire set. So I wouldn't think he is lacking on the musical side. Maybe that's just the type of music he connects with and the music he consciously wants to make. Anyway, just my opinion haha
