Forced Movement is a band-project coming from Berlin, Germany. Members are Frank Sander, Christian Schottstädt and founder Thomas Schernikau. Starting as a part-time fun project, Forced Movement has now become the main focus of our musical output. Combining sonic adventures with classical song-writing we try to establish our own trademark sound, which has a wide variety of musical influences. To name just a few: The Beatles, David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode and Radiohead. Label it Pop, Rock or Electro, it has a bit of everything. As we don’t like a programmed/clinic sound, most of the stuff you’ll hear is played live, may some of it being sampled or manipulated.
