Biography
There are 4 bands known as For Pete's Sake:
1. A hardcore band from Oslo that started out as a continuation of the defunct Sportswear. The For Pete's Sake line-up include all Sportswear members (except Bjørnar from Lash Out) with the addition of Daniel from Eyeball and Spawn. For Pete's Sake also feature members from Onward, Tiebreak (from Norway, NOT the emo-band from Dresden), Rectify, Bungalow Ranchstyle, Damage Control, Common Cause, Gain, Contention, The Team Spirit, Insurance Risk, Hands Tied and Amulet.
2. Rock and Power Pop out of Red Bank New Jersey
3. Also, power pop out of Redding, CA circa 1991.
4. A ska band in Pomona/Orange County, California. The band originally started out of San Dimas, CA in 1997 under the name of The Special Guests and then changed it's name to For Pete's Sake in 1998. FPS was active from 1998 to 2003. In 2012, FPS reunited and played a show at The Glass House in Pomona, CA on June 30, 2012.
