Flowerland is an American rock band that formed in New Haven, Connecticut, in November 1991. After the release of several cassettes and one 7" on Caffeine Disk Records, Flowerland formed their own label Kick Us When We're Down Records in 1994. Kick Us When We're Down Records released four Flowerland CDs which were supported with college radio play, touring and reviews from all over the world. Indie Rock producer John Agnello (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr.) has remixed six classic Flowerland songs which were recorded in 1992/1993: "Crazy Horse", "Low", "(Jim Brown's) Military Country", "glass i", "Kill Alice (Slowly) and "Flow" which will be released September 2013 as "The Caffeine Disk EP" on gypsygarden records.
