I listened to DAF during the 80's club era in Johannesburg. There was only one club that played 'Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft' and that was in the heart of Hillbrow, a place called San Lorenzo. Brings back memories. The Fixmer/McCarthy collaboration is a similar kind of music.
