Biography

Fishkill was the brainchild of Chris Nelson, who played all the instruments on the studio albums released from 2001 to 2004. He turned for project into a three-piece band which played throughout central Pennsylvania and parts of West Virginia. (USA)

The band featured Nelson on Guitar and vocals, Jack Hawk on Bass, and Mike Williams on drums. in 2006, Williams left the band and was replaced by Doug Klinger until the band broke up in December 2006.

The band was known for its sound and live performances. They had a reputation for experimentation, often creating alternate versions of their songs in concert as well as swapping instruments to perform certain numbers.

They only recorded a few tracks and most of them were live. One of their studio tracks Unwind was featured on Chris Nelson's Fish Stories: 1986 - 2005 album.
