Short after Smack's death, Claude went on to form a new band called The Fishfaces. With Ilari leading the band and the vocals, they recorded the band's first album "Lovesongs for Hyenas" in 1993. After that, the band started to work again and Claude had already written new stuff for the forthcoming album "Leaving the planet", he had even finished to record some vocals for the songs " Into my Blood" and "Leaving the planet". Unfortunately, on September 22, 1996, Claude died of heart failure and the cd couldn't be finished. However, "Lovesongs for Hyenas" came out in 1998, as the guest vocalists decided to finish the album using Claude's lyrics. The result…the most touching tribute to the best rockstar ever in Finland.
