Biography
fishersNet was a contemporary Christian Rock band in the late 1990's, lead by Cliff Ritchey. During their time, they were a cult classic at a Christian camp called SpringHill located in Evart, Michigan.
fishersNet was loved in western PA when they made several near New Castle, PA to play for F.U.M.C. almost 10 years ago. They are missed.
After releasing two albums, "FishersNet" and "What Can You Tell Me?" they disbanded. Bass player Nate Bennett left and eventually played bass as part of a midwest Rock band called The Elms, who are now signed on a major label. Darren Potuck, who served as sort of a lead singer, emcee and percussionist, became lead singer in an Alt. Rock band called AutoVaughn. Lead singer Cliff Ritchey reformed the band with some different members as a.m.DRIVE. a.m.DRIVE experienced mild nationwide success, but mostly only in the Midwest. I believe they only released one album.
Cliff Ritchey has since gone solo as an Acoustic/Folk Rock artist, with one album, "This is Front". He is still unsigned.
