One of the only bands I've seen live who I'd have been happy to see play another 90 mins longer

Where once I felt a resonance conveying depth of feeling, now all I hear is "eh". I guess that's growing up.

I'd prefer to think of it as a refinement in taste, but everything sounds like tween wave!

Wooooo, finally a new album that isn't a soundtrack! Who would thunk it'd actually happen 🫠 I'm in!

to all those who crave for new music from EITS like I do I recommend to listen to All Shall Be Well (and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well), especially their album "zwartgroen". all their output is available for free on bandcamp, which I find incredible because "blauwgeel" and "zwartgroen" have been accompanying me for quite a while.. and I still keep returning to them. they remind me of EITS more than any other band, but are still quite original (and addictive).

Thanks for the recommendation! Been enjoying what I've heard from ASBW. Go really well with Explosions and, as you said, have their own thing going on.

Me too! I don't know what this "Big band" is anyway! When they're releasing new studio album? It's about time...

They seem a very loved band and never have I worked so hard to try to like a band as this one. I bought two of their best loved albums and listened to other music on youtube. I would not call them bad but what they do does nothing for me. I am sad that I cannot find there what so many others do but music seems such an individual experience so I must move on.

they posted the same thing on twitter, then they wrote that it's not a breakup and they just wanted to share this fact (like a birthday date or something), and then they deleted everything.

Saw them in London not too long ago, sure they'll be back. By far the best band I've ever seen live.

For as long as I liked EITS, I have never liked Your Hand in Mine. Not trying to stir trouble, just curious if there's others out there

Too emotionless. There's really not much else I can say that will make me sound like I'm just trying to outright bash the song. My exposure to the band did come from right before The Earth... Was released so I don't know if that counts for anything.
