How Strange, Innocence is their best album and it’s not even close

fellas if she says that explosions in the sky makes music for prescription drugs she’s too young for you

Seeing them live changed my life, and hearing "Greet Death" live was astonishing, the bass and guitars shined so deeply it sounded a million times better than the album which is a great feat.

I saw a day once, it truly started like "Birth and Death of the Day".

Where once I felt a resonance conveying depth of feeling, now all I hear is "eh". I guess that's growing up.

to all those who crave for new music from EITS like I do I recommend to listen to All Shall Be Well (and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well), especially their album "zwartgroen". all their output is available for free on bandcamp, which I find incredible because "blauwgeel" and "zwartgroen" have been accompanying me for quite a while.. and I still keep returning to them. they remind me of EITS more than any other band, but are still quite original (and addictive).

Explosions in the sky, 2008, maybe the best concert I've ever been to.

i hope they will drop smthn this year, it was 10 years since last [meaninful] release (winderness was average and all those OSTs can go sleep in garbage)

They seem a very loved band and never have I worked so hard to try to like a band as this one. I bought two of their best loved albums and listened to other music on youtube. I would not call them bad but what they do does nothing for me. I am sad that I cannot find there what so many others do but music seems such an individual experience so I must move on.
