Biography
Ethereal Universe, established on February 22, 2009, is an instrumental Electronic music band bearing the production of a variety music. The band consists of two members: Xaltus and DJ Razzie. The group debuted via YouTube and still frequently use the site to upload new tracks for listeners, albeit each member have separate accounts. EU, which is short for Ethereal Universe, have released several free albums, all of which are named identical to the band name and differentiated by volume number. Each album contains multiple genre of music. EU music is heavily influenced by Electronica, Acid Jazz and Ambient. The group describes their music as, "Music that does not fit in the box with the ordinary." Ethereal Universe plans to expand by releasing more purchasable albums in the near future. Their music is designed to leave listeners feeling uplifted and euphoric. The band name is composed of Xaltus' favorite word, "Ethereal", which he uses best describe himself, and DJ Razzie's applied word, "Universe."
EU styles include, but not limited to, Hip-Hop, Electronica, Drum and Bass, House, Broken Beat, and Trip-Hop, all of which contain Ambient, Jazz, and Soul influences.
